St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On April 20, 2026, at around 1:17 a.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center was notified that a minor sustained injuries as a result of being assaulted by an adult.
A detective’s investigation revealed that the suspect, Sheniqua Belardo-Mason, physically assaulted the minor, causing visible injuries. The minor was treated and released from the hospital.
Belardo-Mason,36, was arrested and booked for Assault Second Degree, Simple Assault and Battery, Disturbance of the peace, DV. A Superior Court Judge allowed her to post $1,000.00 bail, pending her Advice of Rights Hearing set for April 21, 2026, at the Superior Court.
