St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – The Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) is pleased to invite the community to its annual Trunk or Treat Community Event on Saturday, October 31, 2026, beginning at 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. (continuing until supplies last).
Trunk or Treat will allow children and families to safely enjoy the festivities while visiting decorated vehicles and receiving candy, treats, and giveaways.
The St. Croix event will be held at the Old Patrick Sweeney Headquarters, located next to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
Although this year’s event will look different, the VIPD’s mission remains the same: bringing smiles to children and families while strengthening relationships between law enforcement and the communities we proudly serve.
“Events like Trunk or Treat provide an opportunity for officers and community members to connect in a fun and positive environment,” said Police Commissioner Mario Brooks. “By working together, we create lasting memories for our children while fostering stronger community partnerships.”
Community participation plays an important role in the success of the event, and VIPD encourages residents to join in the celebration and help make Halloween a safe and memorable experience for local children.
