St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 6:28 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received a call from a citizen reporting a truck rolled over male at a residence in Contant.
Fire and Emergency Medical Services (FEMS) personnel concluded that the male did not show any sign of life.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Mr. Pedro Solano Castro was under his truck, when it rolled down a short decline and collided into another vehicle trapping him under the truck. He was discovered by a family member who called 911 for assistance. Mr. Castro, age 58 succumbed to his injuries on scene.
This incident is being further investigated by the Traffic Investigation Bureau.
