St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On March 29, 2026, at approximately 2:30 p.m., an adult female was present at the Wilbur H. Francis Command police station to report she was inappropriately touched by a male while at work.
A detective from the Criminal Investigation Bureau was assigned to investigate the case. As part of the investigation, the suspect was identified as Rafea Abdallah Hassan. An arrest warrant was obtained on June 8, 2026, from a Judge at the Superior Court.
On June 12, 2026, Abdallah Hassan, 30, was arrested by members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau without incident. He was booked, processed, and posted bail in the amount of $500.00. Hassan was released pending his advice of rights hearing on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the Superior Court.
