Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Estate Tutu

St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands -On Friday, May 15, 2026, at approximately 11:32 p.m., the Shot Spotter Detection system detected multiple gunshots in the area of Estate Tutu.

On Saturday, May 16, 2026, at approximately 5:52 a.m., a concerned citizen called 911 to report a male lying along the side of Yellow Cedar Avenue in Estate Tutu. Officers were dispatched to the scene, where they discovered an unresponsive male who sustained what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds.

Emergency Medical Technicians responded to the scene and concluded that the male did not have any vital signs. The victim’s next of has kin identified him as 54-year-old Luciano A. Warrell Jr.
