St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – On Thursday, December 4, 2025, at approximately 7:49 p.m., officers responded to an Anna’s Retreat residence for a reported assault involving a knife. The investigation determined that during a verbal dispute, Ms. Milord Medzar struck Mr. Junior Moricette with a bottle and later attacked him with a knife, causing injury. Officers made contact with both parties, and Mr. Moricette refused to allow officers access to the residence to recover the weapon used in the assault.
Both Milord Medzar, age 27 and Junior Moricette, 33, were placed under arrest pursuant to domestic violence laws. Medzar and Moricette were treated for their injuries at Roy Lester Schneider Hospital and transported to the Richard Callwood Command, where they were booked and processed. Medzar was charged with Assault Third Degree DV, Disturbance of the Peace DV and Possession of a deadly weapon in a crime of violence. Moricette was charged with Simple Assault DV & Disturbance of the Peace DV. No bail was set for neither Medzar nor Moricette per the Domestic Violence Law.
