
St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands– The Virgin Islands Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit
is investigating a case involving the unauthorized dissemination of private sexual images.
On September 18, 2025, a male victim reported the incident to the Richard N. Callwood
Command. In a statement provided to the Domestic Violence Unit on September 26, 2025,
the victim stated that on September 6, 2025, he was informed by a family member that
photos depicting him engaged in sexual acts with a woman were being circulated on social
media.
The victim indicated that upon viewing the images, he recognized the setting and subjects,
identifying the location as Ms. Kalila Roberts’ residence. He further stated that during the
encounter, he questioned Ms. Roberts multiple times about whether the camera in her
living room was functional, to which she assured him it was not. The images were later
shared multiple times across various social media platforms.
On Thursday, October 30, 2025, Ms. Kalila Roberts surrendered herself to detectives at the
Domestic Violence Unit, where she declined to provide a statement under the advisement
of private counsel. She was advised of her constitutional rights, detained, and subsequently
charged with Non-Consensual Dissemination of Private Sexual Images (DV), Cyber
Harassment, Cyber Pornography, and Disturbance of the Peace.
This case remains under active investigation by the Domestic Violence Unit. Anyone with
