Woman Rearrested for Theft and Forgery

St. Thomas, USVI - On Friday, August 19, 2022, Daliqua Moses was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny, Obtaining Money by False Pretenses and Forgery.

On September 6, 2022, the Economic Crime Unit initiated an investigation into a reported obtaining money by false pretenses incident. The complainant reported that two checks were stolen from his check book which was located at his place of employment. Investigation revealed that Ms. Daliqua Moses stole the checks; she subsequently endorsed, forged and cashed two checks totaling over $3,000.00.

On February 6, 2023, Ms. Daliqua Moses, age 25, who was in the custody of the Bureau of Corrections for a previous charge, was rearrested and placed under arrest at the Richard N. Callwood Command. She was charged with Obtaining Money By False Pretenses, Grand Larceny and Forgery. Bail was set at $100,000.00. Ms. Moses was processed and remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending Advise of Rights hearing scheduled for Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at the Superior Court.
