St. Thomas, USVI - On Thursday, August 3, 2023, at approximately 3:45 p.m., the Criminal Investigation Bureau traveled to the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands, located at Barbel Plaza South, and made contact with one Marvin A. Rivera, Jr. in regard to an ongoing Domestic Violence Investigation.

Upon making contact with Mr. Rivera, he was taken into custody and transported to the Alexander A. Farrelly Justice Complex, Criminal Investigation Bureau for questioning. He was advised and subsequently charged with Stalking under the Domestic Violence Law, Unlawful Entry (DV), Telephone Harassment (DV), Contempt of Court (DV), Destruction of Property (DV), Disturbance of the Peace (DV), Assault in the Second Degree (DV), Cyber Stalking & Harassment (DV), Burglary in the Third Degree (DV), Simple Assault (DV), Grand Larceny, Burglary in the Second Degree, Printing, Exhibiting or Distributing or Possessing Obscenity. Marvin A. Rivera, Jr., age 45, was booked, processed, and turned over to the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advise of Right hearing. No bail was set by order of the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands.
