St. Thomas, USVI - On Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at approximately 11:00 p.m., the Virgin Islands Police Department and Criminal Investigation Bureau responded to an assault first incident in the area of Frenchman’s Reef Road. The victim was shot while driving in his vehicle from work, he drove himself to Schneider Regional Medical Center for treatment. The victim gave a brief statement which at this time suggests he was ambushed by unknown assailants who attempted to claim his life.

This case is presently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
