St. Thomas, USVI – On Monday, July 31, 2023, Kishon Melford Herbert self-surrendered after being informed that there was an active warrant for his arrest. Herbert was identified as the individual who pointed a firearm at two individuals in the Emancipation Garden, on or about April 25, 2023.

Mr. Kishon M. Herbert, age 39, was arrested, booked, and processed. Bail was set at $25,000.00 in this matter. He was charged with Assault in the Third Degree, Possession of a Firearm during a Third Degree Assault, Brandishing a Firearm, Simple Assault, and Reckless Endangerment (Misdemeanor).

This case is presently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
