St. Croix, USVI - On July 5, 2023, at approximately 6:45 a.m. a female victim reported that a male entered her residence without her authorization. She stated that he was armed, physically assaulted her, and broke property inside the house.

Heriberto Perez

On July 24, 2023, members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau arrested 26-year-old Heriberto Perez. He was charged with Burglary in the First Degree DV, Simple Assault, and Destruction to Others Property DV. Mr. Perez was advised of his Miranda Rights. He was booked and no bail as per the Domestic Violence law, he was transported to the John A. Bell Adult Correctional Facility where he was remanded pending his Advice of Rights Hearing on Wednesday July 26, 2023, at the Superior Court.
