Man Arrested for Discharging Shots at an Individual on St. John

St. Thomas, USVI - On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at an unknown time, a male was present at the Leander Jurgen Command to report that someone fired shots at his residence.

The male stated that on November 29, 2022, a coworker was at his residence seeking refuge after a domestic incident with her boyfriend. The male stated that while the female was at his residence, her boyfriend arrived in search of her. The male stated that after the man left his residence, the man fired shots at him.

During the course of the investigation, the man was later identified as Jordan Clendinen. An arrest warrant was later obtained for Clendinen and contact was made with him on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, in the area of the ferry dock on St. John. Clendinen, age 27, was then transported to the Richard N. Callwood Command located on St. Thomas where he was booked and processed. He was charged with Assault in the First Degree, Assault in the Third Degree, Trespassing, Unlawful Entry, and Disturbance of the Peace. Unable to post bail, which was set at $100,000.00, Clendinen was turned over to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advice of rights hearing.
