St. Croix, USVI - On April 21, 2023, Shotspotter released numerous notifications of shots being fired in the Grove Place area.

Upon officers’ arrival, they canvassed the area and was then notified by 911 of a gun shot victim in the vicinity of 310 Grove Place. Officers traveled and made contact with the victim, who said he was driving his friends home to Mutual Homes when a white SUV drove passed them firing shots at them, which caused him to lost control of the vehicle and collide into a tree. The victim was subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment and released.

The scene was processed for additional victims, witness and suspect.
