St. Croix, USVI – On April 22, 2023, members of the Virgin Islands Police Department extradited 32-year-old, Mr. Anthony Scheinder from Atlanta, Georgia where he was detained on a warrant. After he signed an extradition wavier, he was airlifted back to St. Croix where he was officially placed under arrest for the murder of Stacie Schjang and Arnold Jarvis, Jr. who were killed on January 27, 2022, and Febuary 4, 2022, respectively.

He was processed and booked. Schneider was charged with Murder in the First Degree, Unauthorized Possession of Firearm during a Crime of Violence, Attempted Murder, Assault First, Assault Third, Unauthorized Possession of Ammunition, and Reckless Endangerment in the First.

Arrival by plane

His bail was set at $1,000,000.00 as per the Superior Court. He was unable to post bond and was transported to the John Bell Adult Correctional Facility where he will await his Advice of Rights Hearing, which is scheduled for Monday, April 24, 2023, at the Superior Court.
