Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas - On Sunday, August 28, 2022, 34-yer-old Eliasib Vias-Marcial, a Hispanic male, was placed under arrest and charged with Simple Assault (DV) after he struck a former acquaintance in the face several times with a closed fist causing injury.

No bail was granted as per order of the Court; He was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advice of Rights Hearing
